I was first drawn to the power of music
I learnt to use the turntable at age five
I would play records over and over
I felt excitement and so alive
One day I played a record
And I heard no words in the song
I played it over and then
My own words started to come along
At age five I started writing songs
It was not until twelve I wrote my first poem
A poem called, "Yesterday's Gone"
About solving the world's problems
I like all types of music
And I am a child of Rapso
I call myself a lyrical expresser
Because the words always seem to flow
Inspiration comes from my connectivity with life
From forces that are negative and positive
I try to hold steadfast to truth
For what I write is what I aspire to live
